    Hi!

For the third time now my NOD32 started blocking Internet Browsing.
Almost everthing else works, like torrent, playing games online etc.
Except the first time when I got totally cut off from internet. Messed around with the router and so on. Then I just tried to uninstall NOD32 and voila! Works flawless again.

I've been googling around about this issue but haven't found any clear answers. So I thought I might turn my questions here since this is my favorite computer forums.

Anyone have an idea why NOD32 does this? And how to fix it without uninstalling/installing?

    Yes, and I don't know.

The thing is, it works great for a long time. Then suddenly one day when you start the computer the internet access is totally blocked. First I thought it was the modem or router, but it worked for my gf and hers laptop.

There is no IMON in V3 of Eset.

Have a look at this thread and pay special attention to the browser settings. Also, if you have Smart Security Suite install with the firewall in "interactive" mode.

I dont use Smart Security, just Antivirus and so far I found no problem as yours :)
I think it's setting related matter.

Are you sure it's NOD32. Because I have the same problem and I also use NOD32, BUT in my experience it's not NOD32 causing trouble. for some reason internet browsing works as long as I don't use Azureus. As soon as Azureus starts downloading, internet browsing is "disabled". MSN, internet games and so on all work - like in your case. Closing Azureus does not help, i have to restart my computer. I still found no solution :(
