So I just bought an p775dm1-g used everytime I try to get into the bios nothing shows at all just black screen then I got to turn it off so it can boot into windows normally but no matter what F KEYS I press none of them get me into the bios. I’ve tired to rest the cmos bettery for like 1 minuet and it turned on with a black screen then it switched off by itself and I turned it on again it booted into windows but with a blink of a eye it switched off again.. what can this possibly mean?!!!

Usually to log in to bios menu I need to press F2 key exactly same moment I press power button.

Shut down notebook then try to clear CMOS using Fn+D and then press power button. Keep press Fn+D until you see clear cmos massage.

Sometimes Fn+D method required to do couple of times. It's kinda hit and miss. Did you removed the cmos battery located under the keyboard? If not do that (first unplug and remove main battery and cmos battery).

I got similar issue few years ago with 75xZM model but removing cmos battery solved the problem.

Will it boot to it from an advanced restart? (Shift restart in windows)

I bought this laptop second hand the model so confusing the cpu-z says the model is p775dm1-gcoming to find out under the laptop it says clevo model p771dm but cut long story short it would boot fine into windows but the bios at all I’ve tried to rest the cmos battery and FN + D still nothing it will only boot into windows but now i tried to remove the cmos battery again and this disaster happens to me where the battery plastic seats on broke like the two piece plastic so know I’m here thinking what the hell am I going to do. I’ve tried to hold the battery in place to make contact with the pins but now the laptop won’t even boot into windows Im scared that I actually broke it completely trying to fix an issue in the first place. Now I get black screen but the green power led is on also the I can turn on and of the caps key and green lock shows but I still black screen

So you went into the advanced restart menu, went troubleshoot and selected boot to uefi firmware?
