    Hi ngvuanh

If i have the same model of machine as post 97 on page 10 of this thread, can I just follow your instructions to that enquiry or is each motherboard likely to be unique or different to one another? Your instructions seem to have worked for everyone else with the same no backlight screen issue, so I hope to attempt to fix my own screen at the weekend and have got hold of a multimeter and soldering iron to have a crack at it, but having never done anything like this before I am nervous to ruin the otherwise functional laptop.

Can i just confirm once more: am I correct in suggesting that bridging the dead fuse is suggested as a wiser option than trying to replace the dead fuse with a new one, as that can potentially lead to shorting things or further problems with the motherboard?

Hi! I've a M961 MBX224 and no backlight on screen. If I connect via VGA or HDMI no signal on external monitor but when the Windows starts, i can see the external monitor. I've disassembly the notebook and check fuse F15 and work. I think the LCD is the problem. Thanks
