EEE + WiMAX? I have a feeling that this won't bold well for the future pricing prospects for the EEE, although options are nice.

Oh, sweet! Hopefully we'll learn more about Sprint's national WiMax network!

Pfft i could care less about wimax. All i want is a 2-3lb laptop with a 7 to 10 inch screen, an Intel low voltage processor, at least 4gb of flash memory, 512mb ram, at least 3 hours of battery life, and wifi for 300 bucks. Pricing was supposed to be the boon of the EEE, but so much for that. We'll see how the new model turns out.

You may care less, but there's many more people out there who are probably very interested in it.

Eh, actually I doubt most people will care about WiMax. Look what busts 3G/HSPA/any other WWAN have been, as well as the widespread failure to adopt Wireless N. And we'll have to see how expensive the antennas are - I'm guessing numbers which doesn't bode well for the Eee PC using it being priced aggressively. The Eee PC held such great promise when it's original specs and price were true - $300 for what is currently the $400 model + BT would be unbeatable, but as it is you're better off buying a $600 Dell 14" notebook because frankly, the Eee lacks too many features.

Looks like someone had fun with Photoshop to me though...

Though I welcome the larger screen size. Hopefully it would be in the same dimensions of the current EEE.
