Yes you can expect this level of screen performance from all of our PremierColor UHD displays on both the 7510 & 7710.

Is graphics switching (i.e. Optimus) supported on all of the systems? Are there any caveats? For example, in older Precisions certain types of displays made graphics switching unavailable.

Trying to think if I have any more questions....

Will the 7510 and 7710 work with the same docking stations that the M4800 and M6800 worked with, or are new docks required?
(I realize some ports like Thunderbolt will not be available on these docks.)

That is a great question!! All 7510's & 7710's will work with the current generation of docks that are currently in the field and used by the M4800 & M6800. If you order the Thunderbolt 3 version of these systems you are also able to use the next generation docking solutions like the Thunderbolt dock.

    Thanks for your excellent answers!

It sounds like I will just use 1 M2 PCIE slot for the OS drive and the other for storage - these drives do go up to 1TB (each)?

For the 2.5" bay is there any problem in ordering the workstation with no drive in that bay and add the Samsung EVO 850 2TB later - as long as it is 2.5" standard (and 9.5 mm form factor)?

Mano, which panel types (TN, VA, IPS) are used for FHD and UHD?

Are the panels matte or glossy?

I guess the 7710 can't be configured with an optical drive?

Yes the M.2 PCIe SSD drives are available in capacity points all the up to 1TB.
As I have done in the past, and think I'm the only one to offer this, if you order your 7510 or 7710 without a 2.5" drive we will include the 2.5" drive cage in the system along with all the screws needed to allow you to add your own 2.5" drive. The 7510 & 7710 support up to 9.5mm 2.5" drives.
