Red or white? Sweet or dry?

Dry white, preferably something which would go with pizza (I know, different types of pizzas require different type of wine). Problem is you are from the US, and there might be some availability problems between US and Europe :)

Maybe a quality rose' or something bubbly. Sounds like the ladies are in the mix. Remember how to speak to them? :bigyes:

Got the manual right here, chief!

Bubbly is a no go, and not really sure about rose either. Thanks for the suggestion though :)

I don't purchase much white wine, but Sauvignon Blanc and Pinot Grigio are popular. My favorite wine is free wine, then reds.

Someone gave me a few cans of Sofia Blanc de Blancs, would have been fine with pizza.

Well d'uh, best wine - free wine. Even I never say no to free wine, even if I don't really drink the stuff.
Those two are actually the ones I landed on. Still need to decide which brand to get... Luckily co-worker suggested me a good wine shop which has personnel, who can suggest dumbasses like me a suitable bottle of wine.

I'll say not necessarily. As a waiter for Sunday brunch, the brunch offered all you can drink sparkling wine which was Korbel. Korbel is one of the better low end choices out there. Don't recall if management didn't really care if you drank this stuff or not, but I don't recall anyone getting in trouble for doing so, and we did. But got to a point you really didn't want to because the stuff gave you a ****ty buzz, and too much and it would give you a headache. I also worked for a short period on time selling wine over the phone. Of course we had to taste what we sold and every single day I'd walk out buzzed from my shift. Sometimes you've just got to give it a break.

So how did it go yesterday?

    These days actually yes :)
Of course there are times when my soul demands to get my ass ****faced, and I let it, but otherwise I stay cool :)
But obviously there were times in the past when I was way more dumb and young :)

    It's for the future :)
Don't worry, I won't share anything. Too many creeps lurk around here, and I'm not even talking about radji :D:D:D

On topic, holy hell, week+ later and only now I'm getting well. Air conditioners sure are killers. Took me this long to at least come down to 37C...
