Gas has gone up 20 cents over the last week :( also, I was volunteered to spend the weekend at the gf's grandparents. I had a large list of things I wanted to get done this weekend and spending the next two days in BFE wasn't on it.

Finally, the gf's birthday is next week and idk what to get her. It sounds like we'll be going to Dallas for that weekend though.

Shame on me for being a fan of the NFL for the past 30+ years and not realizing this, but evidently the NFL holds a tax exempt status. :vbconfused: Are you kidding me? :vbconfused:

Apparently its only the NFL organization, not the teams themselves, they all pay taxes. And its been in place since 1942. Ya they should pay taxes, but its not as bad as i originally thought reading that headline.

Well, it has been nice knowing you all, but I think I'm gonna go now.

In any case, we're supposed to get about 12 inches (that's about 30cm for all you new fangled math people) tomorrow. Meh.

    ^^^^^^^

Pretty much the same set of expectations here, and quite some fun to be had tomorrow night, temperatures-wise...going to work on Monday is unlikely to happen for silly old me.

Back on topic...finishing a build for a customer of mine, and am about three days early. Feels good, right?

Installed W7 Ultimate, no issues. Check.

    Ran all the updates. Check.

The system re-boots and a brand new SSD is nowhere to be found...not even in BIOS.

Now I have to start an RMA process with NewEgg...and there's no way that I'll be able to meet the promised delivery date. Duh.
