Great stuff. Out of curiosity (although we know not to put too much stock into it) but what are your ASIC percentages?

Powered by: Quad Core Exynos + 6820HK

I know in the Bios you can adjust the CPU performance, I have never seen a gain with it Active or Deactivated.. You can download this http://www.hwinfo.com/download.php (If im not allowed to post links, sorry), Hardware info will tell you voltages from your battery and DC, CPU. Could help figuring out if its the d/c in or temperatures of the CPU/GPU could cause a throttle, or its a voltage maximum being achieved by the CPU.

Yep, as @guttsy suggested, no issues

    +300 Core
    +450 Memory

    +100mv

Runs Overwatch, 1080p EVERYTHING on highest (Epic), etc 70fps+

    THANK YOU haha

Edit: Tested Doom, on highest settings with TSAA, motion blur, etc etc. Holy crap! On average 70fps+ here as well. This is nuts and makes playing games so much more enjoyable. Thanks for the suggestion again. Temps seem fine too, 58C in overwatch and 63C in Doom.

Aw15 r2, 980m 8GB, ASIC 79.2, Clocks +274/+400, +75mv, stable with Heaven (extreme setting), however in Assetto Corsa once I activate 2xSGAA AA transparency and memory bus load goes close to 100% as well as GPU load, I have... throttle back to default clocks. Temps never exceeded 67 C. Interesting to note, 2 minutes after clocks go back to normal... My understanding was that Prema's bios had throttle disabled for good... which somehow in my case is not. Worth noting is that the CPU is at 3.8GHz and undervolted by 72mv (package temp between 60-80C no kind of throttle here). The system is well optimized in my view to be power efficient, no throttling and deliver the expected performance, it's just this GPU throttle which spoils the fun.

    Any advice here?

@Prema, I am willing to beta test a new BIOS if there are still things which could be done with it to truly get rid of throttling.

That throttle is induced by your system BIOS/EC, not the vBIOS...

    So wait a sec...
Does this happen when you do not overclock the GPU?
Sounds like you are hitting your power or current limit.

Makes sense, and I suspected so, thank you. Also I remember in NVIDIA inspector the power limit in o'clocking tab is grayed out which I think means the power throttle is deactivated. Wish also to thank you for your work your bios opened the card potential.

It happens when I overclock both the CPU and GPU.
I was thinking too about the power limit and will try to get a 330w ac adapter.
