Eng. Meaker, hope you are doing well, I have one of the 780w PSU, do you recommend not to use it?

I said nothing of the sort but most work places will have requirements for regulatory certifications being on electronics used at work.

We would not offer such a kit, no.

It sits in an odd place really. If you have the skills to do that level of modding you could just mod the 8/9 series chip in for a lot less.

Then I'll do your recommendation by moding it instead, Thank you Sir for your kind advice.

Well there are other things that you can not mod that easily . For example heatsyncs that TM offers.

If such kit would be available with proper price for europe customers - i might grab one for myself :)

You can buy the heatsink and the cpu X bracket like I did from Sager, or other resellers, the mode is not that hard to do.

Ye i know, but afaik to make TM cpu heatsync fit - it require some moding in laptop case. I rather buy whole new case with everything fitting right and sell this one as used but without damage.

It's even more convincing now when our P870xx beasts are going to be some kind of unicorns in laptop gaming world :) one of a kind.

Good point, selling the old one is a good idea.

With a good undervolt it depends how far you want to go. An 8086k delid with tuning will certainly partner a 2080 very well.
