    Hello to the community!
I want to buy a laptop for business, work and programming, including cuda. I am willing to pay at most 1300€...
Minimum requirements: 15.6" FHD display (IPS desired), 8GB RAM, 256GB SSD, i7 8th generation, low weight <2.2 kg, with good battery runtime. Also, the design is of big importance...Nothing bulky or not that elegant...
I know that the dedicated nvidia is a must for cuda, but some of my favourite laptops don't have any... I am in between the two following:
    Asus Vivobook S15 S510UN and HP Elitebook 850 G5

Thank you very much for your time!!

Between the two, the Elitebook is a clear winner: Asus VivoBook S15 S510UN vs HP EliteBook 850 G5
But there are some things I can't figure out. To work with Cuda you need a laptop with a Nvidia video card, but the Elitebook as far as I know only comes with an AMD video card: https://noteb.com/?model/model.php?conf=9678951356439300096_1478&ex=EUR

I guess you could do CUDA development with the Elitebook if you buy an eGPU, but that's going to add to your laptop cost. I still Think the Elitebook is worth its price.

Also, the price difference between i7 and i5 does not justify the performance gains: https://noteb.com/?content/article.php?/2018/03/04/core-i5-or-core-i7/
And i5 should be more than enough for you.

I don't know how you were able to get G5 for such a good price, but if you can, that's a clear winner.

This is what my search turned out for you, for business grade laptops, 8GB of RAM, 256GB SSD, <2.2kg and Nvidia GPU: noteb search.
You can see and change the search parameters using the "Refine results" button in the upper-left part of the search results page. You can also click on the laptops for more information.
