New GS63 & GS73VR with GTX1070?

    Does anyone know why the same Chi Mei panels on thr GT7x series support gsync while the ones in the GS73/GE73 doesn't?

    I am meeting with representatives of MSI for latinoamerica on wednedsay for a business reason but I will Try to ask them about all this rumors... I will keep this thread posted.

    Could be the system not the panel, the GTs have a hybrid/discrete GPU switch and the GEs don't.

    I got myself XPS 15 the new kaby lake model
    since i got it for free i plan on using the money i wanted to spend on the MSI gaming laptop on building a gaming pc with the new 1080ti

    Not a bad plan, I like having a desktop as my main and then just something light for on the road, since I realized I do about 0% of my gaming outside of my house.

    I just finished my meeting... Looks like will be full 1070... If not they would have needed to change the name... Not sure how trustful can be since they were sales people from MSI.. Not product managers.

    Exactly, I'm worried we'll get a machine that throttles badly and overheats or a machine with a severely gimped 1070. If they have magic that makes it work out, then fantastic. If they don't, it could end up a hot and noisy mess. @hmscott @CedricFP @tobi777
