Agreed. You shouldn't worry about the GPU draining too much battery if optimus is working properly. The only difference between the two in that case would be screen power draw but the bigger battery should make up for it no problem. Also I think one of the units is rated for 507 minutes but I forget which one. If you undervolt your CPU you should be able to pull out a lot more performance and reduce the screen brightness.

EDIT: Scrolling through FB page again. P34g is 518 minutes and P35k is 475 minutes using mobile mark 7. So expect at least those times.

So how much of this is aluminium v plastic? In absence of Razer Blade 14 in the UK trying to decide between this or the GS70 (or similar XMG build)

Imported I presume? Concern being the number of RB14's that have needed to go back with minor issues makes an import risky in my opinion. Who did you use to import? How much did it cost with taxes etc?

It's mostly aluminum with only the bottom panel being plastic I believe. Not quite the all aluminum of the razer blade.

I'm looking for a place to order the P35k too, how is the service at Excalibur? I had a sour taste from ordering from Xotic, bought a UX51 and had to go through hoops before they admitted the unit was defective. Then I had to pay both the return shipping plus pay back the "free shipping" to get a refund OR exchange if I wanted a replacement.

Is the dell made out of plastic or aluminum?
