    For example:

Yoga 2 Pro (Brilliant and beautiful)

    MacBook Air (Brilliant and beautiful)

Acer Aspire R7 (Brilliant, slightly less beautiful IMO and trackpad up above was a weird design choice)

    That's just a few examples.

Edit: If this uses the same battery as the Razer Blade, how come the Razer manages 8 hours of battery life whereas this can barely manage 5?

Razer blade has a 14" 1600x900 screen so smaller screen and fewer pixels. Also it has a 4702hq which has a TDP of 37 watts while the 4700mq has a TDP of 47 watts. That's about what you'd expect.

If that information is correct I would imagine most of it has to do with the screen. The blade is not an IPS screen.

Yes, but don't you think that buying the p35k is almost future proofing yourself for the next five or so years? The p35k has got great specs and is almost the same price as the 13 inch macbook pro with 8gb of ram, which doesnt even have a decent graphics card.

You aren't "future proofing" yourself for the next 5 years on any laptop any time soon.
(Perhaps if you buy a macbookpro as they do tend to keep alot of their market value after years.)

I also suggest staying away from Acer, at all cost. [LCD screens etc]
They don't care about quality, they care about sales more than anything so they offer everything for a low quality for a great price.

Yogo 2 looks amazing and I would have gone with it, had Lenovo not gone full retard with the USB on it.

for 300-500$ you could give a company your p35k housing and they will produce a replica of the case but from a single aluminium so it will be as strong as the macbook pro 15inch ;)
