    desktop physx card is only 149.

    The bottom end config is specced really highly, which leads me to think that there will be a cheaper model coming sometime later with this: T7300 or T7500, WUXGA, no PhysX card, single 8700GT (mebbe dual 8600GTs?), 2GB/160GB (5400RPM), and the 9 cell battery for around $2200 or so. That would be my guess, anyways.

    That or there is an eve higher end coming with the 8800m. Maybe both.

    Its because the 200GB HD is faster then the 250GB ones.

    Who on earth is going toi buy a 2in thick laptop that looks like it's carved out of a piece of mable? The lid design's absolutely horrendous, too.

    Okay, we need to stop complaining about the way this laptop looks. I think it's already been established that a lot of people think this laptop looks terrible. I, for one, agree when I look at the pictures, but then I try to imagine how amazing the laptop looks in person.

    But seriously, where is the 1730 on the website?
