Hello, I have bought a clevo keyboard from Aliexpress.
After connecting it to my laptop ( P651hs-g ) the keys were all messed up. H was writing as F, capslock was switched with numlock and so on. Keys react like this even before boot ( Cant F2 to go into bios)
I tried it connecting to my older laptop which is P670SE and the keyboard works fine. Ive never had problem with keyboards made for P650 P670 on my new machine and I switched 3 already because of W delay problem from heat damage.
Did anyone else encounter this problem? Idk if its some keylogger protection or just hardware incompatibily even tho i never had problems with same keyboards.

There can be changes between the mapping between generations.

I guess that must be it. Thanks

I was thinking about changing the mapping in hotkey but how much latency would there be compared to normal presses? Like would you notice it at League of Legends for instance?

Thank you for your replies. I found out, that when i disconnected the power and battery and after that installed the keyboard, it would work flawlessly. I was a fool to replace it when connected, but i never had a problem with such a hotswap. Well it works now and im happy. Thank you again

You hot swapped the keyboard? That could have killed it quite easily.
