They look pretty good. I wonder how well they perform.

The new 13 will be revealed at a later date, but all that has been reported is that its getting the new design, have an actual touchpad + buttons will have the OLED panel as an option, and will carry a GTX 1060 (source).
I think it may come with Kaby Lake-U.

By the looks of it, there is no way SLI will be offered. :( They are going thin and light as predicted. At best GTX 1080 it seems, so you are good for 1080p & 2k gaming... In 3+ years they may catch up to 4k gaming LoL. Typical Dellienware. Basically buy a Pascal Titan X, AGA & make sure you get the best CPU they offer if you plan on doing any 4k gaming with the laptop. Definitely sow this coming.

Well finally, they scrapped off the Carbonfiber ext to magnesium alloy again, with the change of Alienware font too, Hope they have MXM GPUs in there.

Also they push forward the thin & light design but hey they got the G-Sync this time with 1440P 120Hz.
Yeah no SLI options at all.

From the Aleinware 15 they seem to have another typo there lmao..
Those Radeon RX GPUs !! Gimme MXMs here FFS.

Are the keys individually backlit? I hated the old 4 zone keyboard because the colors would spill over into the next zone.

Overall I like what I see but expect these to be expensive. Wonder if the 15 will get the 1060 as a base seeing as the older version started below a 970 which the 1060 replaces.

Pretty sure they'll never go back to sli systems again. Besides the fact that they want make them as slim as they can, sli cards used up all 16 pcie lanes that were available to the cpu. The last system to have sli was the 18, which came out before pcie ssd's came into the mainstream. Other companies use switches or controllers or something along those lines to share the lanes between the two cards and pcie ssd's, but something had to get gimped at one point or another. Mostly intels fault, even with a 6700k, can't run two desktop 1080s in sli with full x16 speed on both cards due to lack of pcie lanes.

These are not light by any means.. The 15" is over 7 lbs and the 17" over 9.. The 13 inch will be 6 lbs.

I am guessing they will be bringing these systems with Kabylake on them. Wonder if the Alienware 15 has a 1080 or tops out at the 1070.
