So im really interested in getting a netbook computer. I’m currently a college student, and my Toshiba Sli1 is not too portable and I want something fun to carry around. With so many models in the market now a day I would love some guidance as to which is the best on the market.

    Around $249.00-around 300 ideally the 249.00
    2) What size notebook would you prefer?
Subbook/Netbook (eee pc or something like it)
    3) Please select your country's flag as a post icon and tell us what country are you buying this in.
    USA
    4) Are there any brands that you prefer or any you really don't like?
    Nope
    5) What tasks will you be performing with the notebook?
Web surfing, minor paper typing, music, possibly watching movies (not too important)
    6) Will you be taking the notebook with you to different places or leaving it on your desk?
Yes ideally I would like to take it everywhere
    7) Will you be playing games on it; if so, which games?
    Nope
    8) How many hours of battery life do you need?
Not too important I guess 2hrs
    9) Do you mind buying online without seeing the notebook in person?
I would be more then willing to buy online
    10) What OS do you prefer? Windows (XP or Vista), Mac OS, Linux, etc.
    Linux
    Build Quality and Design

    13) Are the notebook's looks and stylishness important to you?
    Nope
    14) When are you buying this laptop and how long do you want this laptop to last?
I would be buying this around the middle of Oct.
    Notebook Components

    15) How much hard drive space do you want; 40GB to 500GB?
    2GB
    16) Do you need an optical drive? If yes, a CDRW/DVD-ROM, DVD Burner or Blu-Ray drive?
No but would it be possible to get a external drive?
