    I believe GTX1070 is not a good GPU choice if you expect to use laptop for 2-3 years. It will run future games such as Cyberpunk 2077 like because it lacks dedicated RTX hardware. Go for at least 2070.

    I just purchased the Lenovo Y540 for 1300 USD.

    15.6 screen, 144 Hz
    i7 9750h
    RTX 2060
    16 GB RAM
    1TB SSD
    About 5lbs

    Upgradeable and so far so good... check out David Lee review on YouTube comparing to the Y545.

    There are some downsides,
    No thunderbolt 3 even though there is usb c
    Nose cam
    Fans do get somewhat loud but that is normal... thermals are good
    Not sure why they out number keypad on a gaming laptop

    *i also choose this because its more portable than the others.

    》msi ge73 raider rgb-012
    price: 79900(around $1600)
    i7-8750h

    @Kurt Russel

    Hey man, you should not limit your options on what is available in our country. I am on the same boat as you last 2017 but I still purchased
    my Aero 15x in the US and have it shipped in the Philippines thru Johnny Air. But beware not all laptop manufacturer has a global warranty.
    Here are the laptop brands that have global warranty and can be honored in the Philippines.
    1. Dell (including Alienware)
    2. Asus
    3. MSI (not so sure but I think they have)

    Purchasing in the US and having it shipped is still cheaper than buying in our country.
    You may also try Sager laptops and they have a local distributor - Helix Philippines. Their prices is not that expensive compared with prices in the malls because the laptops also came from US.

    I hope this helps.

    hey man thanks for replying it was a great help that someone from PH have a good experience ordering online :).. i was really looking for someone and ask about how much shipping and tax cost you when you bought your laptop?

    i was afraid ordering from outside of the PH because one of my friend have a very bad experience with PH custom. his girlfriend send him items from germany and the package arrive one week to the philippines but the custom didn't deliver it right a way and it took a month before they deliver it and some items was stolen. wew!

    @Kurt russel

    You don't need to worry about the taxes and customs clearance. Johnny Air will handle them for you. You must inquire with Johnny Air first so that you may have an idea on the pricing because it would depend on the dimensions and weight of your parcel.
