Since one of my Laptops came with Win 8.1 which I dislike and don't use, so what the heck, I decided to upgrade it to Win10.
So here are my maybe unusual questions about Win 10 installation:

    1. I don't have, I don't want and I don't want to give MS any e-mail accounts MS, or otherwise, can it be done?
    2. I don't want any useless passwords or logins, if somebody is breaking into my computer, somebody broke into my house already and I have bigger things to worry, how to set it up? Also kids use my computer and younger one doesn't read yet.
    3. computer is dual boot, will Win10 stay away from Win 7 install on separate disk?
MF#$#@! Win8.1 keep erasing my Win 7 installation on SSD, until I disabled something like fast boot, can't remember now, will I have unpleasant surprises like that with Win 10?

Absolutely, Win 7 works great and it will be my primary OS, but since the laptop is dual boot as is (I kept factory Win 8.1 in case need to send it for warranty repair etc.), I may as well check Win 10 now, since warranty is about to expire and see how it works, especially that my company may change to Win 10 and I do my own maintenance on my work computer.
Anyway, never mind #1 and #2, against common wisdom I upgraded from win 8.1 so it didn't ask me anything and it works without password, just as Win8 did.
#3 I will just have to test and see, have full image back up, just in case, from lessons learned before. One thing I can't figure is restore set up under Win 7 affects restore in Win8 and vice versa, but I'm just going to rely on backups instead.
