I used the BIOS archive from here: https://my.hidrive.com/share/yze8mg-wf8#$/BIOS and EC Firmware/CLEVO/P_Series/PAxx_Series/PA7xHxx/PA7xHS(G)

Created a FreeDos flash drive using Rufus, booted to DOS, and I successfully flashed the EC using ECFlash.bat. Computer shutdown itself.

After that, I booted back to DOS and typed FLASHME.bat however, it seems that the archive does not include AFUDOS.exe as written inside that bat file. DOS said AFUDOS.exe not found (FLASHME.bat calls FLASH.bat at the end so AFUDOS.exe is actually run from there).

Well I tried FlashMeWinX64.bat, and obviously, it said this program is not meant to run in DOS. So, I changed boot mode back to UEFI and proceeded to Windows to run this file.

And this is where I am now. Computer is still on, haven't shut it down yet... What should I do at this point? Any help is much appreciated!

Edit: I got it to work! I ran WMeset.exe (as admin), then the computer rebooted with 100% fan. I ran FlashMeWinX64.bat again and it flashed the ME with fptw64.exe, followed by the BIOS with AFUwinx64.exe. (Note: during this time peripherals stopped working and Windows seemed very laggy). Upon finishing the laptop would shutdown by itself. I then turned it on manually, took a few minutes and a few more reboots, the CMOS battery reset thing showed up, and now I'm back in Windows typing these lines!

Nice save! That is pretty strange that certain files are missing. I found the BIOS zip in Palkeo's repo and it too is missing AFUDOS.exe.

I don't think it's helpful for you now, but the 1.05.13 BIOS zip has AFUDOS.exe (find it at https://repo.palkeo.com/clevo-mirror/PA7XHS/, username/password is repo)

Yeah the MESET unlocks the ability to write to the region on next boot.

It is extremely unfortunate that something so simple has been made so unnecessarily complex with laptops. There is no legitimate reason for it other than the OEMs and ODMs are control freaks. Even in this messed up technology world we live in today, this is still a very simple and straightforward operation on desktops with enthusiast-centric motherboards, with little or no nonsense. I can mod my BIOS so that the signature is "broken" and still flash it using a simple procedure provided by ASUS or EVGA. They even provide a special button and clearly mark the designated USB port to facilitate it. Heck, I can even do it with no CPU or RAM installed, LOL. All the motherboard needs is a power source. There's no reason they can't do this with laptops other than the aforementioned control complex they all seem to suffer from. Once upon a time, even Alienware laptops supported it. They were once made by a company that cared about its products and the people that purchased them.

    True.
From my experience of using an Acer and a Dell laptop, their BIOS flashing process is just a simple .exe file you need to run.
On the flip side, Clevo gives you a bunch of batch files and zero documentation on how to use them. However I find it useful that there's Intel FPT, I use this tool to flash my modded BIOS without worrying about signature checks and all that stuff.

The reseller should be providing a guide on it.
