Just need help on a final decision between a few thinner gaming focused laptops. Screen is most important to me. I do not generally play FPS games, but lean more towards Total War type games, Witcher type RPGs, The long Dark, some Minecraft still etc...

Prefer a fluid nice looking gaming experience but don’t need everything maxed...

    1) What is your budget?
$2000-2500, lower is fine too if it meets my needs

    2) What size notebook would you prefer?
    15.6”

    3) Which country will you buying this notebook?
    USA

    4) Are there any brands that you prefer or any you really don't like?
Really debating between these three (open to other options)
    Razer Blade Advanced 15” 2060/2070/1660Ti
    Elucktronics Mag 15 2070/1660Ti
    MSI GS65 2060/2070

    5) Would you consider laptops that are refurbished/redistributed?
    Nope

    6) What are the primary tasks will you be performing with this notebook?
Primarily Gaming.... secondary web surfacing, some photo editing and movies.

Need to have some “fun” for work travel. And some light gaming at home when I can’t reach my desktop ;)z

    7) Will you be taking the notebook with you to different places, leaving it on your desk or both?
Some work travel, but plugged in mostly. Unless watching movies etc

    8) Will you be playing games on your notebook? (If so, please state which games or types of games?)
Witcher 3, The long Dark, a little Minecraft still haha, maybe some FPS (not competitive), other cool AAA titles, Total War Warhammer 1-2, Xcom, etc

    9) How many hours of battery life do you need?
A couple for movies if on a plane. But not a requirement.

    10) Would you prefer to see the notebooks you're considering before purchasing it or buying a notebook on-line without seeing it is OK?
Nah, my wife has a Razer Blade Stealth, love the feel.

    11) What OS do you prefer? Windows, Mac OS, Linux, Chrome OS, etc.

    Windows

    Screen Specifics

    12) What screen resolution(s) would you prefer? (See further below for explanations.)
1080P is fine, but open to options... I have never experienced a 144hz+ screen yet haha.

    13) Do you want a glossy/reflective screen or a matte/non-glossy screen? (See further below for explanations.)
    Matte

    Build Quality and Design

    14) Are the notebook's looks and stylishness important to you?
    Not picky

    Notebook Components

    15) How much hard drive space do you need?

    512GB is plenty

    Timing, Warranty and Longevity

    16) When are you buying this laptop?

Now, need before end of October.

    17) How long do you expect to use this laptop?

2-3 years, kinda my gap PC until next Gen GPUs etc come out for desktop build.

    18) How long could you afford to do without your laptop if it were to fail?

    NA

    19) Would you be willing to pay significantly extra for on-site warranty, or would it be acceptable to you to have to ship the laptop to the vendor for repair with perhaps a week or more outage?

Warranty is important if there are good options.

    Thanks for help folks!

Never mind, bought the MSI GS75.... saw it in person and really like it. A bit higher than what I planned, but it’s all good.
