system level EQ? do you mean audio controlling software? On my Clevos I just used the Sound Blaster Xi-Fi and on the MSI I use Nahimic

Speaking of audio, is there anyway to not use the Intel SST drivers? From what I've read, they don't offer anything I could even fake an interest in, and they've been causing problems (clicking/popping noise) with power management conflict with the realtek drivers - of course Acer doesn't seem to want to admit this is an issue and just keeps telling people to RMA their machines. If I could just use the bog standard Realtek HD, alot of problems could be solved

@Phoenix: Maybe @Georgel asked about EQ such as Music, Movies, Default etc... is the sound quality better than Sound Blaster?
Maybe EQ like DFX audio enhancer might do the trick.

    Yes!

I'm looking for a system-wide EQ that applies to Youtube and everything that is better than X-Fi

This is because I want one that works with an external USB Soundcard :D

Thank you for explaining it for me!

Have you tried Room correction based audio calibration that comes with Windows Audio settings.

    Yes.

Didn't do much for me. What I need is a good sounding EQ that works at system level

some of my headphones need this, and using an external USB DAC will disable any Clevo X-fi thingies so I need something else for this

Hey @pheonix , I followed your guide and think I've lost Windows Hello on the clean install. I've set-up the PIN which is needed and have a fully up to date Tobii core software which works perfect for everything else. Problem is I don't even see the "Face" option available in Sign-In options. Could this be something that I disabled / uninstalled accidentally during your guide (which wasn't labelled Face Authentication)? If so is there anyway to get it back? I know the hardware is good because for a while I had another windows install and it worked fine on that.

hi matey, did you run O&O ShutUp 10 by any chance? if you did, make sure you uncheck the option which says "Allow Biometrics"

the only other place to disable Windows Hello :hi: is in the Group Policy Editor

    PS: Who is Tobiii? [IMG]
