Can I suggest that when making threads to share tech articles that we have an official formatting policy?

Time and time again thread titles in certain genre's of NBR are definitively more hyperbolic and/or factually incorrect. Would it be possible to have a formatting policy so that articles that are shared here are done in a manner that allows just the article to be presented in the initial post with commentary if desired to follow after?

Thread Title : Actual title from the article

Blah blah blah commentary blah blah blah

Some members here are basically warping articles into propaganda. I dont really care about people's brand preferences but in my view articles should be able to just be presented and followed with all the diatribe commentary they can muster if they so desire.

We won't make a rule like that but report any thread where the original article's message is being twisted and we'll discuss. This is a discussion forum so we try not to get too involved in telling people how to post.

I guess I did something wrong. It all got deleted.

So if we won't have a formatting policy, and seemingly also not permitted to correct deliberate misleading info then what is the next option?

    As title states.
Why is there no HTTPS connection to this site ?
I have my browser set to force HTTPS but have to disable it to connect here.

Nope, suggestion has been made numerous times and passed up the chain to those that manage the site ( not admin or moderators )

This has always been the case and unlikely to change in the near future.

I am concerned that traffic to notebookreview.com is reduced because browsers, like Firefox, send people like me this screen when I try to visit this website:

That all ties into the non-https nature of this site, I get it too. One way to not get it is to go into the ff settings and allow non-https without the warning but in my experience the site seems to be way slower to load etc when you do that.

Hi, I see that Protonmail domain is still banned on this website for spam. But I was wondering if there are any plans on creating a method to bypass these bans, such as verifying your account via telephone number, to leave domain filter mainly affecting the spammers at that point?
