Mythlogic warranty

    Update:

    At 4am last Sunday I received a message from Mythlogic stating that they were waiting on a keyboard and it should be ready in 2 weeks. They promised to keep me updated, so we'll see.

    If their not responding, I wouldn’t delay it anymore. From what I’ve seen so far, you’ve gave them ample time to respond but with no success so I’d contact your local authorities and take this matter further. Hope you get a positive outcome.

    Update:

    I got my laptop back. They cleaned it up and installed a fresh operating system but little else. They gave me a report and said that some of the repairs were not covered under warranty and that the ones that were required parts that would take 3 to 5 weeks to receive.

    According to the timestamp on the pictures they sent me, it's clear that they didn't even look at my laptop until I started talking about sending in a police report. Perhaps if they had done it in November when I sent in the laptop, I would have had the covered parts. No consideration was given, and no apology or explanation was given for all the extra time it took.

    Whatever reputation this company used to have, it is now an embarrassment to the industry as far as I am concerned. For those of you who still have outstanding orders with them, you can still get your machine back, but new customers should stay away.

    Thanks for the update. I think everyone should share their experiences so other people on here are aware of who to watch out for. Glad you got your machine back.
