    In the past there has been a LOT of confusion here about how Windows (Vista and Win7) manage memory. There are many myths, misconceptions and downright lies about the subject. Much of this arises from assumptions based on old versions of Windows (XP, 2000, 98 etc,).

    These two videos from the 2010 PDC will debunk those myths and give us the straight poop on what REALLY is going on. These are from the definitive EXPERT on the topic Mark Russinovich.

    buttt...butttt I just downloaded 4 GB! XD

    Thanks for the links though, very interesting. I knew that Vista and 7 used memory much differently than XP (following the whole free RAM is wasted RAM philosophy) but it's great to see it explained further in depth! Repped! :)

    There certainly is a lot of useless, outdated 'knowledge' being held on to by a lot of people who are either unwilling or unable to learn how Win7 and Server 2008 really work.
