We are local to California Sager/Prostar/HIDevolution, should not be an issue

His Previous System was purchased in 2015
    Clevo W355SS I7-4710MQ CPU
    8GB Ram, GeForce GTX 860M 2GB GDDR5 with Optimus
    256GB mSATA and 2x 256GB SSD’s
    Internal DVD drive
    Windows 7

Anything clevo and as good as or better than above will be fine.

Clevo/Sager based laptop with AMD Ryzen CPU currently only limits to the NH5#A variants with RTX2070 which is good on FPS gaming performance. California based CyberPower PC do not have this Clevo built laptop yet.

Hence, you're left with INTEL based Clevos which i don't think can be found from their list...
...the laptops listed in the link seems to be built by TongFang.

The Sager NP8358F2-S should work great. I'd suggest upping it to 32GB of memory for some future-proofing.
