    Buy a studfinder. There's a reason they exist.

    I never drill into a wall with the intention of hanging anything without tapping into a stud.

    I see that alot that at where i work
    people run over the laptop they drop them lot of smashed lcd tire marks thought mild of couple month old toshiba lucky they missed the hard when they run over it

    it toook me a while to figure out what kind of mod u're talking about .. staring at the pic for 5 min and reading the comments.. i finally know why.

    i did the samething to my lap while turn it over and assemble it at the bottom then when i turn the face back on, screen cracked.

    Yeah why did you mount anything to the drywall, especially something like a SHELF?

    It doesn't need to be "weak" drywall for that to happen, all drywall is weak. You don't mount shelves in drywall, you find a stud and screw into the stud. I hope you learned your lesson lol... Next time something like this happens maybe you'll blame yourself instead of blaming it on "weak drywall".
