    Hello everyone,

I finally bought my first RBA rtx2070. the problem is that my first gaming PC, so I have a lot to learn.

    Can you give me advice?

What to install to better manage it, what tests to do to see if everything is working perfectly and in case to ask for a replacement if something is wrong in the right way.

I also heard about overclocking and undervolting, I know in general what it means, but where can I find more precise information to manage it better?

    Thanks

I think I saw you on Reddit asking around, just to add since it’s your first gaming laptop, buy guarantee minimum you want to have at least 2 years more is better.

Wise decision:) So now stress it a lot under a month amazon refund policy. Did you get the softwares I recommended? Undervolting it by -130mV and run xtu stress test and benchmarks. Then next is 3Dmark, Firestrike and timespy, the beta version is free but enough for testing and knowing the performance.

Yes balanced mode I’m guessing, great at 70ish.
3Dmark as well out of box for 2070mq isn’t bad at all, it’s balanced mode? There’s 3 options on rtx model right? Creator, gaming and balanced I believe?
Try each mode and see score and temperature. If there’s still no reaching mid 90ish on cpu you can try overclocking manually using afterburner.

I just tried to play RE2 in ultra and after 10 min these were the statistics:
    -gpu1 76° 43%
    -Cpu 82-87° 21%
    -ram 7510mb
    -60fps stable

How can I change different rtx mode?

    There’re 3 performance mode on Synapse. 63232935-8DF8-4B22-A0C3-075EEF8E12D7.jpeg
About RE2 Remake I think you can even play 1440p and get 60fps, your gpu usage seems too low, higher is better for gpu usage means it’s effectively being used.
