All payments have gone through and now I am just waiting for the order to go into production! When I get the laptops I'll give it a review since as far as I was able to see there is only one other review out there and it is by @saturnotaku himself. Always good to have a couple more in the land of Youtube's. If I can ask saturnotaku, what was the rough turnaround time from when the order was put into production until you received it? Just curious since I've never ordered anything quite so custom from a vendor before. Or anyone else for that matter that has ordered something like this.

Production time is roughly 7-10 business days from when payment is approved, depending on parts availability. Shipping takes however long it does based on the service you selected and where you are in relation to southern California.

It is waiting for a production slot to open up. You will get an email once it goes In Production.

Post has been updated and I'm quite astonished on how fast that production chain went! The laptop went into production and then shipped out in less than 3 hours, crazy efficiency! With everything that needs to be done to this laptop and them getting it done in the time that they did, I can't imagine the experience behind the wheels of this train. Never received anything in regards to stress testing or quality checks like Phoenix did, but I'm assuming they've streamlined the process to not include those anymore since it's been roughly 10 months since he did his order. I can't wait to receive it now, I was expecting it to take at least a couple more days!

*puts up a glass for a toast*

    Long Live HIDevolution!

Thanks for that...but please understand the technicians are a bit slow to change the status to In Production. It usually happens once it is built, and in final Q.C. testing. Then, assuming all goes well, it will hit the shipping floor shortly thereafter, and once it leave the technician's bench, the status is not only updated immediately, but joyously :bigwink:

More likely the time stamps don't match. My unit was being tested when status was "pre-production". Like a bank "may take 12 hours to update" is about right for this kind of production.
