Very much doubt an 8th gen bios would work on an 7th gen system.

Ugh was hoping it was just the CPU that was changed and it could work...

It will not work. Have you checked if your system's BIOS is up-to-date?

    hi
there is a possibility that yes ,, my original msi ram 2400 runs up to 3400 but it takes too much offset for SA ,.temperatures with the original cooling I can't stand this for a long time

use stock ram ,,is good set 2800mhz to cl16 20 20 is good

Aight, I gave up after 4 days of resetting the cmos and tinkering w timings etc, ordered another single ram stick to match the original. My ego is butthurt, had to order a Dan A4 to build to appease it ;p

look here ,, setting up ram is really easy if you turn on OC tab

    https://forum-en.msi.com/index.php?topic=324552.msg1845000#msg1845000

for some ram need SA offset it is worse if you use high oc ,,get shudown or thermal problem cycle boot .,use low offset i now run sa + 0.025 for 2800 mem cl18.20.20 for hot day

Always check Intel NUC spec sheets for RAM Compatibility and speed/freq. Usually they're very detailed and precise. 3200MHz+ is possible with 16GB and with 32GB or more you are better off with 2667MHz RAM with XMP2.x support that way RAM sticks maintain compatibility and give stable performance w/o causing issues.

    Hey guys

Have anyone had issues with the latest Nvidia drivers?

I've installed the latest one and now I get a black screen, the laptop does seem to be on but the screen won't switch on.

    Anything I can do?
