That's pretty exciting, I was never a fan of the old 4 pin.

    Nice find.

Everywhere I’ve read says this laptop has 4 fans. This guy removes the bottom and all I can spot is 2. Am I missing something?

He said the other 2 fans in the other side, and he said he can't do more disassembly for now.

Apparently the other two are on the other side of the motherboard, around the hinge area and intake from the keyboard deck surface.

Dang. Checked the dimensions and found this to be at 10 lbs and slightly bigger than expected. Power connector being on the side is iffy for me since if its in rear center, it will at least fit wth my current desk setup cabling. This machine is also a tad bit more expensive.

Also, keyboard is said to not be mechanical switch which was the selling point for me of previous MSI units.

Nice to see MSI is hand-tuning each laptop before it leaves the factory for an all core 5.0ghz performance, but for me 4k @ 17.3" is not something I'd want as it's going to be hard to read at native 4k.

It looks massive, over 10lb's, with the potentially massive performance it should be awesome.
