    please explain to me on how to test the HDR and I'll be more than happy to. Running 4k HDR content on youtube on the GT75 and my old GT80 looks fairly similar. The colors are more vibrant on the GT75, but there isn't a huge change.

    Try Netflix, they have some HDR Content. Both the 75VR and the GT80 is the same TN panel so if the 75VR is more vibrant then that is probably the effect of HDR enabled.

    For my GT75VR, it says HDR not supported. On close inspection, MSI is not really providing an HDR display on their laptops but a display which is as vibrant as an HDR one. This can even be checked on the MSI site as it does not explicitly mention anywhere that it's display is HDR :(

    That is disappointing. Although with a display of that size, I do not believe it will make a huge difference. Now a 50+ inch display is a different story.
