So, I've recently clean installed my laptop due to it getting screwed up after a Windows 10 feature update. Everything is running smoothly except for three things. One is that whenever I boot up the laptop the Dragon Center icon will quickly flash on the task bar for a split second and then disappear after loading to the hidden icons section (I'm still able to use the dragon center and it runs fine) and the other is that when I first boot up and click on the type here to search bar it flickers and then when I type something in it flickers. It only flickers once when performing both actions and after that everything is fine, but it bothers me. Is there any way to fix this or is it normal? All of my graphics drivers are up to date. I've performed numerous clean installs to fix this but the problem persists. It's the same issue with whenever I delete a file on the desktop the taskbar icons will flicker each time (Unless I right click on the recycle bin and select don't move files to the recycle bin. Remove files immediately when being deleted).

i would recommend a further reinstallation of the os. i create an stick with the latest windows 10 1903 and so far it is working (except some strange issues with no working Nahimic 3 after 3 Updates and then back in action after the 4th update :D).

Clean installed it last night but the taskbar flicker still persist. Before I installed 1903 I tried downgrading to 1607 and it the issue wasn't present. It must be a bug with Windows 10. What's your average memory usage with 1903? I'm getting upwards of 30% of 16 GB with Chrome open.

21% memory usage 6,6GB of 32GB with Firefox open and 6 Tabs.
Durign gaming session and depending on the game between 30 and 45% maybe more.

Gotcha. Managed to fix my memory issue by disabling my Killer Networking card, which also fixed m audio latency issues. Now it's stable using 20-23% with Chrome open and maybe 4 or 5 tabs. Gaming averages around 30%. This build isn't too bad. Looking forward to future fixes and updates.

Just have one more question. I guess I never paid attention to things like this in the past, but is it normal for a cpu to spike temporarily while you're scrolling up and down a page such as Facebook? My CPU will spike up to 35% to 45% and then it will level out at around 9% of 10% once I stop scrolling.

Chrome extensions can have a pretty big effect on operation, I'd try running it with all disabled at least temporarily for comparison.
