Spain? What's that? Some kind of Mexican food? For most manufacturers and sellers the world ends at the US border ;)

Also, $3,299.00 for the GTX 1070 model? Hell no! Guess those German sites were not that off with the increased price compared to the GT73VR 7RF.

I'm happy without a mechanical keyboard and the screen is 3 ms instead of 5 ms. Can you even see a difference ? Does -2ms worth +500 USD ? Anyway, why do they even sell it with 64 GB RAM? It just adds a huge extra $$. 32 GB is perfectly enough for years.

It's ok to post links when you find something to save us time searching for things, we do know how to search, it's just sometimes easier to post the exact link that you are looking at, for discussion sake.

There are 2 GT75VR's listed right now on Gentechpc, both stuffed with memory 64GB and NVME storage 512GB/1TB, the 1080 model is saddled with a 4k screen @ $4299 and the 1070 120hz 1080p screen @ $3299, both way overpriced.

Those are the first adopter systems stuffed with top configuration parts and addon's to bring the price up.

Hopefully new barebones models will follow.

You're right, it's not of a big upgrade for having 3ms, HDR, a mechanical keyboard and a huge ass generic RAM, not worth it all.

I don't want to sound like I'm adversiting by posting the links but noted.

I was hyped but seeing the specs at this price is...meh, it looks everything has been rushed, MSI is a mess.

I'll pass giving you my dough, so see you next year MSI.

I suppose there will cheaper versions that don't have the RAID and 64Mb of RAM, These are too expensive for me to upgrade from my GT73.

    Why doesn't m,y post count go above 1000? It's been a 999 for a few days.

    LOL

Why bother upgrading? The GT73 was a huge step than the previous generation while the GT75 is a blinged-out version.

64 Gb RAM is pointless, unless you like burning money or need it for professional work. 16 Gb is enough for gaming and 32 GB is well future proof.
Mechanical keyboard is nice yes, but does it worth +500 USD ? No.
3 ms vs 5ms can you see a difference ? Maybe, still not worth that extra cash. Where does it say on the official webpage that is has HDR support? (I can't find it)

It's just a thought, in October my schedule will involve me spending days in a crash pad and a new laptop to tune in could make the time pass, but not for that price, the mechanical keyboard has caught my eye though and if I sold this one it may be worth it.
