it's better to stick to the one listed on the MSI model for your specific laptop as the newer driver for some reason displayed both the Nahimic Icon and another Realtek Config icon at the same time which I didn't like.

Should I get the latest drivers from the msi website or getting here is an equivalent method of getting them? I'm more worried about the bios, is the latest release the latest and greatest?

This is a nice handy list and is equivalent/from MSI.
Only exceptions are perhaps if @Phoenix has a slow week :p.

By all means if NVidia tells you to update, do the update. That's about the only thing I do differently.

Please don't mention me for everything you have to say if there's nothing for me to reply about. I have like 30 mentions every day with stuff like this

New steelseries update messed up my install. Wouldn't detect the GT73 keyboard or rival 700 mouse

Has anyone found a source for the Thunderbolt NVM firmware? On my GT73VR, I'm running version 18.07 while my friends GS has version 21 and Intel's most recent appears to be 25.

Probably need to go through MSI to request the firmware since it may be different from model to model. Differences specific to a model may include GPIO information as well as available features.

Thanks for the warning. I reverted the SteelSeries Driver back to the version of MSI and put a warning disable auto updates.
