I figured it out! For one my charger was plugged into a power board and not the wall. I got my first 9000+ score doing this, though this score wasnt consistent. Then i went into msi dragon centre to find i had the eco setting on the system tuner. Changed it to sport and now consistently get 9000+. Thanks for your help!

12k firestrike stock. Most 1060 laptops are running 9kish?
Im pretty sure I can run my 1060 barebone up to 11k firestrike though I havent tried it yet. But I game basically silent.

However id love to see some user reviews later. From people who purchased their systems from resellers with LM repaste/undervolting etc. It would be might impressive if we see a 7700HQ 1070 maxQ system reach 14k firestrike. :D

why does the adjustment sliders in the dragon center for the fan speeds go all the way up to %200? I tried both 100% and 200% and i haven't noticed any difference. Fans seems to be operating at around 5400 rpm at full speed.

Wow. 1070 max-q on that very slim chassis. Any idea what 120 hz panel it sports?

@GenTechPC - can you please check and let us know what make / model of 120hz panel is being used on the GS63VR and GS73VR? Thank you!

It looks like from his GS73VR video its the same panel in the GT73VR minus G-Sync ability. The GS63VR appears to be a Chi Mei based on the ID he showed. I would also like to see the exact panel ID/number manufacturer/make if possible @GenTechPC

So I managed ot get my 1060 up to 12856 graphics score and a total of 10727 before i stopped. Thermals are no problem at all. So there is still headroom to overclock but Im not sure what im doing wrong. I put it to +200/300 core clock and memory clock. More than that and firestrike crashes. But thermals are still ok and no loud noise. So not sure how to tweak this further to get a better improvement.

But regardless that gives the 1070 maxq a 12% performance increase in terms of graphics on stock. So im guessing 20% real increase?
