Gigabyte P35X v6 but its probably louder.

45dB in the MSI is a damn good rating for a thin and slim gaming laptop.

Yes undervolting will help, you can use Intel XTU to undervolt the CPU.

i watched the videos of these laptops several times, she clearly stated more than once how much quieter the GL502 is, not to say it is quiet, but it is the gs63 that is insanely loud, she also mentioned 105F compared to 129 F for msi,
again, the GS63 is ultrabook chassis with gaming performance, which is amazing, by no means it is "worse" than the GL, it is just your priorities,

If anyone has undervolted/underclocked to achieve lower temps/quieter fans i would love to see your stable settings and step instructions on how to do it

I'd really like to know if all the FHD models have the same panel.

This was answered a ways back:

The computer BeastOG bought was the 512gb version from Amazon (GS63VR-068) - he came up with the same panel as the Best Buy version (GS63VR-001). It looks like all units use the same display.

Undervolting will help the temps some but nothing drastically.. Fans will still be loud.

The only thing is that there are several LP156WF6 with different specs... depending on the last 4 characters, -SPK3

That's what I was afraid of... Guess I'll be sticking with the 4k panel.
