Is the GF Series relatively new? I can't find anything in regards to reviews or user reviews other than a few good ones on Amazon.

Looks like the GF72 is about the same price as a similarly equipped GT62.

Just wondering where the GF Series falls into MSI's lineup and whether or not anyone here has any experience with them.

It just looks like a notebook i'd personally not touch, Its rather thin which usually means a lot of heat.

Pretty sure it's not even that new, it's just one of those notebook noone is really giving much attention to for obvious reasons. Sure you get a nice display, good speakers and overall ok package, but for the same price you could get a GTX 1060 system, which demolishes the GTX 1050.

Yea. $1400 would be a nice price. Then again, the 703 Scar will cost $1500 with the 1060 and 120hz display.

idk, I might recommend this in the future. The panel is awesome, sound is awesome, steelseries keyboard, price is decent, performance is ok. This might be the sweetspot for people.

Yea. If you're looking for something with a 1060, it appears to be a good option. Just wish there was some more information on it. It has cooler boost 4 so it should be 6 heatpipes with separate CPU and GPU cooling. The color is also a dark gray rather than the normal black.

A bit less than one month later I ask myself the same question. In the end did you buy it ?
One of my main concern is that I'm considering buying an AZERTY built-in keyboard for a GF72 later but I can't find any piece compatible with this serie. I'm wondering if it's because the GF serie is very new or if it's because it's ****ty...
