Thanks for the heads up. The SSD in my Titan VR is a Samsung SM951. Do you know how it would compare to that? My Titan also has a SATA HDD and it’s been decent speed-wise so hopefully the SSD is decent.

oh its probably going to be similar to your titan, I just meant that when I found NVMe's it was a noticeable difference from a SATA SSD. with SATA technology they actually hit the max possible speed (more or less) and can't go any faster, that is why they switched to NVMe with does not have the same constraints as SATA.

I posted this in another thread though not sure how to link to it so I will just add it here:

Though someone pointed out that the Gb/s to MB/s are slightly wrong

Oh wow I’ve never even known any of this, thanks for this info! But yeah as long as it’s similar to the Titan I’ll be just fine :)

This is something I will definitely remember for whenever my next purchase happens. Do you know if these can swapped out on the new Raiders? That could be an option down the line too if so. Never really looked into that on laptops outside of memory of course so thank you again. I love learning new stuff :)

That’s why I wanted to make sure you knew that there was a difference.
You can definitely upgrade it without much of an issue later down the line

That’s perfect then. Good to know I have the option in case I change my mind. Can’t wait to get it and start playing. Should be a decent upgrade from my 3-4 year old Titan. Thank you again for your help!

Keep in mind that with Ryzen, memory is essential, to the point that there is a large difference in performance between almost all speeds and timings. This is not the same case for intel.

As for your question, that ram should work specially if you put two of the same to avoid any incompatibility.

Hello everyone. I am new to this site and this is my first post.
I am here to ask you guys a favor.
Would you mind sending me the benchmark of this pc please? I know that there’s already a vid on youtube for that but i couldnt find a serious review like benchmarking it with full fan speed or something like that. I want to buy this laptop but I am so unsure because i am so afraid of the cpu/gpu throttling.

Ps: i am in asia i dont have access to popular online store like HIDevolution or XoticPC to ask them to repaste the thermal paste for me.

A bunch of my benchmarks are in that thread. Keep in mind mine is repasted with LM.
