Ok so my main two options are either the MSI (From HID with the metal liquid) or the Mech for the Eluktroboost.

This will be my first laptop from either brands and I wanted to ask how flexible are the MSI laptops with tweaking and overclocking? can I unlock everything and go a little crazy and get that extra performance if needed or is it one of those what you see is what you get?

Because right now the performance gain from Eluktroboost is very appealing and to say the truth the MSI is a better laptop in nearly everything but I am a sucker for the numbers.

You can OC and tweak the MSI within the current limits of the hardware.
The Mech G2 has the extra boost which pushes performance to a next level but if you are more confident with the MSI, take that one.

In my country you can buy the Mech G2 (other reseller, so no boost) for around 1750€, a comparable MSI GE75 for 2700€. In my case (90+% in home) the choice is clear, with that difference the laptop my die a year sooner. You will have always newer hardware for a cheaper price in the long run.
Prices are different overseas, I might go for the MSI in that case.
