Gaming, UE4 Dev, 3DS Max + Vray.

Mostly on my desk at home or at work (Which is walking distance from home) and 2 times a year travelling by air.

8) Will you be playing games on your notebook? If so, please state which games or types of games?
AAA Games on High/Ultra settings. Right now I play GW2, GTA5, Minecraft, KSP, Stellaris, CK2 etc.

9) How many hours of battery life do you need?
more than 1 HR at least.

10) Would you prefer to see the notebooks you're considering before purchasing it or buying a notebook on-line without seeing it is OK?
Yeah, that's fine.

Yes, need SSD for OS and some apps. Min 256GB SSD and 1TB HDD

Hi Guys!

I was planning to get an MSi GS65 before this but I saw the laptop in hand recently and was not happy with it and I was enlightened by my friend on why bezels don't matter after a week and why I don't need a thin and light considering my use-case. and cost savings.

So I did some searching again and have settled on these two laptops. (also open to other options)

Yeah, the GT is just massive, not sure if I can carry it to and fro from office & home. Also, the 4 core CPU will affect my rendering times for 3DS-Max.
But the GTX 1080 is also cool.

Indeed, so in a nutshell you'll have to decide if you want something more gaming oriented or something that takes a little less time rendering.
