I believe it’s the full 1070. We ran some benchmarks between this model and the Alienware 15R4 at MC. They were the same. And I know the 15R4 has the full 1070.

I would like to know how the thermals are on this laptop. If you could run some stress tests. That would be helpful. I am also looking at this model.

Yup, checked it out. I believe this is a 1070 non Max Q just off the boost/base clocks?

max-q is 1101 MHz i believe so yes its regular, also gpu z would say "1070 with Max-Q design" instead of 1070

I would like ot run some benchmarks as well. Any suggestions on what to run? I am coming from a Eurocom M5 Pro (think it's a 3 year old P6XX series Clevo) with a 970M so not sure on what to test right now.

    Have you tried 3DMark? https://www.3dmark.com/

Might try it next. Trying passmark first as it was free. Not liking what I am seeing which might line up with what I saw in game.

I ran passmark 3d test and got REALLY bad numbers. Like 5.5k when average is almost double that. Trying to figure out why right now.

Which model of system did you run the benchmark on?

just retest, I think maybe I had the fan profiles changed in a way that was massively throttling it. My Eurocom didn't have any real profiles, was just always "go" as it were. Now getting 11.6k on 3d test with passmark.

Please also try testing on both 411.63 & 399.24 drivers.

@TimeToTilt. Can you also run some thermal tests. Trying to find out what the CPU temps are under stress load. Thanks.
