Disabling the optimus feature is a solution to you? If yes i can help with that.

I think that Optimus cannot be disable in the MSI (only is possible in the ASUS GM501).
In my case, the stuttering completely disappears changing from Auto mode to nVidia or Integrated graphics only in the nVidia control panel.
So it is clear that the problem occurs when it uses both graphics chips.

How is your experience with GE63 so far? Like about the performance and all. I'm need to buy a laptop by the end of next week and I'm still confused between MSI GE63 8RF and HP Omen 15 dc. Both have an i7-8750H and a gtx 1070 max-q but not sure which one to get.

Make a post in the first forum, but neither is truly good as they have MQ GPUs

Just returning to say that this issue has finally been fixed. I cannot point exactly to when. However, if I had to make a guess this was likely fixed during the last big Windows update(?). I no longer experience these issues.

Sorry to necro this thread further. But I felt it was appropriate to give an update and let people know this is no longer an issue that affects my unit and likely no longer affects this model. Thanks again to the people who had given assistance in helping me decide on this model.

Please do not necro this thread further unless you have something pertinent to add or ask. Else peaceably let it die. Thank you.
