    Glad you got it sorted

FYI: https://www.msi.com/Laptop/support/GE62VR-7RF-Apache-Pro.html#down-bios - is the support page for your laptop, it had recent bios updates and EC Firmware, as well as a patch for the intel management engine fix a few weeks ago. I mention it because MSI can release fan profile updates as well.

It controls the behavior of your CPU/Chipset, etc. Basically it's like reflex part of cerebellum.

You may have to disassemble the whole system, including the base due to wiring.

That will probably depend a lot on who you get to do it. Probably a question better asked of your vendor.

Hi! My laptop is ge62vr 6gen. I have a problem with my temp it was running in sports mode and my temp reaches up to 93c in GPU but 60-65 in CPU for comfort mode my temp was 78c in GPU and 55-60 in CPU. Its already repasted and fan cleaned. I used unigine heaven benchmark.

I want to ask if that is normal temp for both GPU and CPU? Or there is something wrong with the GPU temp? I also have vaccum cooling and cooling pad CPU and GPU was undervolted. I think my bios and EC isnt update but do you think it will help?

Btw, my friend has the same unit and was clean and repasted like a month ago before me but his temp on sports mode was 75c tops.

I appreciate the help! Thank you!

EDIT: Could this also be a heatsink problem? Could the GPU heatsink failing thats why the temp was too much, can't even use sports mode.
