What use MSI to detect the two PSU's? I know Dell use the middle thin pin. Something connection signal sensor in the dual connector box Msi offer?

I don't know, because the master power ID remains 10 (230W). When sirgeorge disconnected one of the two 230W bricks, he had extreme throttling. You should PM him. He hasn't been here since he posted a modifed bios for skylake GT73VR.

Yeah, I think so too, plus in a laptop it takes that parody and magnifies it.

Hence the reason I was asking for the new Turin Nvidia GPUs XX80 series! Single highest grade GPU in laptop is all I need, the GTX 1080 is such a beast but to drive 4K Ultra at 60FPS, it can't do it unless you drop to low settings 4K. If the new Turin series is more potent twice as much, I would love to get one, if the new 8 core CPU MOBO comes out for this current EVOC chassis then I also want to upgrade.

I know, I'm such a sucker for new tech :p even if my evoc still powerful in the next 2 years, if I can upgrade it, why not?

    Hey @matyee

I am in the process of trying to get my 120hz monitor to work on my F5 with drivers newer than 378.92. I have been chatting with Eurocom today and recieved a new BIOS (E16L1IE9.310) which unfortunately still has not fixed my issue. What BIOS are you currently using to make the 120hz/backlight on/brightness controls work? Also, are you by chance on Windows 7?

Is there anyone else on W7 with the 120hz screen that has been able to use newer Geforce Drivers?

I'm on E16L1IE9.30C BIOS build date 3/10/2017 and have full brightness control and perfect drivers with my AUO TN 120Hz panel.

Ugh, frustrating. That's the BIOS that I had before i upgraded to this latest one and I had the backlight issue with the 120hz screen. Are you on Win 10 or 7?

Get in touch with svet, he will prepare the necessary bios for you, with works perfectly with 120hz screen, and the brightness control also fixed.
