MPB benchmark with battery and without battery

    Hello there,
    I read in some post, that using your MBP without battery reduce its performance, so I wanted to do a little test...
    I ran 3dmark06 on windows vista ultimate with battery at 1280X800 and I had an score of: 5700 and then I ran it without battery and I had: 5246... so yes, it reduce its performance but not 40% as in the other post were saying.
    After this, I decided that now I'll take out the battery when I'm at home, I mean -8% performance is not noticeable...

    what does your machine get in 3dmark06, at 1440x900 res? not related just wondering.

    @1440x900 mine scored 5297(2.53GHZ,4GB,ultimate x64,fujitsu 320 GB 7200rpm,180.70 video drivers).
