It's Unix under the hood, customized ofc. FWIW Mac OS X runs on AMD too, while older versions used to run on Power architecture. Bottom line, it's a multipurpose desktop OS that has a lot of stuff going on, which simply wasn't included in extremely limited iOS. Also, check OS X appearance settings - in Windows the difference in responsiveness after disabling some animations is dramatic, maybe the same is applicable to OS X.

Sorry to read this preconception (ignorance?) about the quality of many programs available to make windows better.

Makes me think of refusing to install new\better tires on cars, even if it would improve safety and handling.

You will have to ask Apple that. But in their minds, and the kool aid drinkers, it’s optimized for intel.

Hey koolaid man, how is it going? Still fine tuning Windows 10 to make look somehow? Well, I just finished up my retro Pentium Pro PC with Windows 95 installed on it. It does not need any 3rd party fine tune craps and has so more serious operating system feeling... I'll send some screenshots if you would like

You can request to change your username HERE. So you will not need to write again kool aid ;). By the way, not are you the one who is just growing up on Windows 10?

Could you write that again in coherent verbiage this time? thanks. It was even hard to understand using my non glare glossy screen on my Dell. Oh right, only apple has that magical option.
