Desktop vbios has no idea about eDP for example. It's like asking if you can flash a desktop motherboard bios onto a notebook.

Does anyone have an Aorus X5 V6?

Also, can I flash the vBIOS of a laptop of the same specifications?

There is a slight version mismatch on nvflash and wants to reconfirm whether I want to flash it.

    Should I flash it?

If you have a way to recover it, otherwise you could brick it.

I have saved a copy of the current firmware on all my drives.
Assuming I brick it, is it a soft brick or a hard brick?
    Would a re-flash it away?

Assume if it's bricked you are going to need a clip on programmer to recover it.

If the laptop still boots then you could do q reflash with your original vbios dump. Otherwise you need a harfwareflasher or maybe you could reflash it with a dos usb stick with nvflash and your original vbios on it and you know the procedure without any visual help ;-)

    Correct me if i'm wrong:
Is there no way of doing a "blind" flash with a dos usb stick and nvflash on it?

Before I brick it, is it possible to analyse the current vBIOS that I have to see whether the current one is corrupt or has bad sectors?
