So it went from 1228x to 12466 in firestrike making that change in the control panel, with just very slight increase in power draw, spiked at 70 once, then hovered around the 60 mark

    98 to 100

Seems fine. Have you tested Firestrike before and after? Graphics score should have increased quite a lot.

i saw that, there isnt a setting in my bios for disable adapter warnings unfortunately, but i havent seen anyone else with my laptop sying that this needed to be done anyway. doesnt the 980m use 100w of power?

EDIT: there is a setting for this in my bios, i went back just to make sure i wasnt being foolish. it is now disabled. trying the testing again

Upped tdp to and using a +185 on core still saying it's not going over 60w power. This is really weird. Core is at 2037 too. Perf limit is vrel at 1.050

Starting to think this is a driver issue now. I am using 417 prema drivers but I was able to get great results so ima chalk this up to a win

Hey guys, do we have any links to the hardware needed to flash the GPU with a higher limit?

Im re-reading the thread but would like to order the parts in the meantime so I can try this out when I have the time. Reading the thread between two jobs is going to take a while, but if I remember right so will shipping on the clip or 1.8v adapter.

    Is this programmer still adequate?

    https://www.amazon.com/WINGONEER-hi...=1498254746&sr=8-1&keywords=skypro+programmer

Where could I get the 1.8v adapter and clip?

Apologize in advance if its already listed in the thread somewhere, posting this in between jobs

    Thanks guys
