    Yeah I did, thanks!

Just commenting on the fact that the new drivers aren't available through the downloader for me (maybe they haven't propagated to a server near me? :))

It's getting odd with mine. I use a monitor with VGA port and after updated to 10.10, the grey color became a little reder! Meanwhile the original monitor was fine... Did anyone have this kind of problem before?

As suspected, same as last week's "leaked" drivers. . with one addition in the installer:

    "WMV9/VC-1 Video playback"

"AMD Hardware Accelerated WMV9/VC-1 Video Playback for Windows 7"

Maybe someone more informed than I can confirm deny, but I'm suspecting this is adding hardware acceleration into media player/center the same way it's been implemented into VLC/Firefox/Chrome as of late?

Few scores with new drivers (stock clocks):
Lost planet 2 at all high except AA with vsync ON.

    Vantage

Maybe 10.10 hotfix will increase compatibility ati cards with Lost Planet 2...

10.10a drivers are out. Any thoughts on whether we should use these or 10.10?

Edit: Just tried installing the hotfix and it's a no go. The installer does not recognize the 5000 series. Only the new 6850 and 6870 cards are supported. Come to think of it I think these are desktop drivers only anyway... whoops.

Hey all.....I am new here and I purchased a G73-BST7 at Best Buy last week and so far no problems at all......I really dig this thing.....its my first ever gaming laptop and I can't stop gaming...lol....but I just installed the 10.10 cat drivers and so far not a single problem.....played Modern Warefare 2 and Assassins creed 2 for about 30 minutes each and everything is smooth......so if your having issues upgrade......I wasn't having issues but these seemed to be a good update for several games......good luck everyone!

I upgraded to 10.10 through Revan's link. It works good so far. Crysis seems to be running a few FPS faster. I was around 24-28 FPS on High, now I'm 30 FPS on high.

Wrong, sorry. They are supported by all desktop drivers. That is key, they just don't support mobile drivers.
